Ashish Atreja, M.D., M.P.H.

Ashish Atreja, received his M.P.H. in Community Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2001 before finishing his residency in internal medicine from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

He is currently a fellow in the Medical Informatics program in the Department of General Internal Medicine and Information and Technology Division at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and recently got married in India.

He has been published in the Archives of Internal Medicine and the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine, among others and has given many national and international presentations on online education and international health. He has also reviewed medical software for MD Net Guide.

For the last two years, he has conducted workshops in the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) annual meetings on using the Web to deliver medical education. Of late, he has been involved in using EHR for data mining and quality initiatives in the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

He is also the Web master for the Cleveland chapter of the Network of Indian Professionals (NetIP), which is a professional, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the overall achievement and advancement of Indian American professionals.
