TERRITORY MANAGER, East Territory - Do you have experience working within the healthcare industry? Do you have sales experience? If so, we are seeking a Territory Sales Manager based in the Washington DC, Maryland, and northern Virginia area.

This mid-level position will promote and market electronic resources (STAT!Ref) to healthcare professionals in the states of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and the District of Columbia. The Territory Manager will use his or her people skills and energy to work directly with existing Customers, as well as with users of the STAT!Ref resources. This is an opportunity to build a career with a company that is one of the leaders in the electronic medical information field.

Medical professionals worldwide (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, students, interns, and residents), along with pharmaceutical researchers and medical reference librarians are the main users of STAT!Ref, the principal TDS product. STAT!Ref is used to obtain the most current medical and point-of-care, drug and coding information. Bringing together both medical information and technology, STAT!Ref is known as the leader in the field for “Fast Answers to Medical Questions.”

Position & Responsibilities: The STAT!Ref Territory Manager will work with current Subscribers (post graduate academic institutions, teaching hospitals as well as private hospitals), as well as with the various professionals who are potential users of this resource (Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Allied Health).

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the healthcare industry and bring a high level of energy and professionalism with a strong understanding of Internet technology. This home-based position will require 30% percent travel, with the ability to develop long-range travel plans and regional management /development skills with minimal supervision.
